A Bit About Me

Hi, I’m Akshay, a 17 year old student at Eton College in the UK, where I’m pursuing A-levels in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Economics. Born and raised in Dubai, I’ve always been drawn to challenges that sit at the intersection of science, innovation and impact. This website offers a glimpse into that journey, showcasing my academic achievements, research, leadership roles, internships and extracurricular passions.

As a researcher, I’ve developed a cyanobacteria-based carbon capture device called CynoFilter, a project recognised by The Earth Prize and shortlisted for multiple innovation awards. As an entrepreneur, I founded the Switched On Podcast, an initiative that has brought career guidance to over 50,000 students across the UK. As a leader, I serve as a Sixth Form Select Prefect, STEM Committee Chair and MUN President at Eton, helping shape both thought and action on campus.

From sustainability and astrophysics to fintech and public service, I’ve sought opportunities that challenge me to think across disciplines and act with purpose. I’m excited to keep building, learning and contributing to a future shaped by innovation and integrity.
